I work remote from Switzerland, and on site in Geneva or Zurich — with an engineering team where there is one, and as the engineer where there isn’t. You don’t need a specification. Show me how the work gets done today — the spreadsheet, the manual step — and I’ll tell you what’s worth building.

What I work on

• Applied AI and evaluation — putting a model behind a real workflow and proving it holds up: large language models, on-device and edge inference, model deployment and quantization, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation harnesses, Core ML, MLX and Foundation Models.
• Backend, integrations and data systems — making systems that don’t talk to each other work as one: Ruby on Rails and Python services, REST and GraphQL APIs, relational data modelling, migrations, third-party integrations, automated testing and CI/CD.
• Native and cross-platform product development — getting a product into users’ hands and keeping it shippable: Swift and Objective-C applications for iOS and macOS, React Native and TypeScript clients, release engineering and App Store delivery.

How a role or assignment works

• Nothing to set up on your side. No Swiss entity, no payroll, no social charges, no employer registration — a licensed Swiss provider handles all of it.
• You direct the work. You set the priorities and decide what gets built; day to day I answer to you.
• One agreement, one invoice. You contract with that provider, not with me — they employ and pay me, they invoice you, and terms are agreed with them. A Swiss employer can also hire me directly.
• Subject to acceptance. Each assignment is confirmed with the provider before it starts, including where you’re based.
